Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy applies to Lazy Bricks and our website, provided by LazyJim ("we," "us," or "our"). The game's package name / Bundle ID is com.lazyjim.lazybricks. Our website is lazyjim.com.
1. Information We Process
You can play Lazy Bricks without creating an account with us. Your playable save, including the current board, completed levels, completion times, and sound, music, and vibration preferences, is stored on your device. We do not provide our own cloud-save service. Some gameplay and technical information is also sent to the services described below.
- Gameplay and usage information. We use Google Analytics for Firebase (Firebase Analytics) to understand how the game is used and improve its puzzles and usability. Events include app starts and sessions, tutorial progress, level starts and completions, time spent, counts of moves and rotations, hint use, settings changes, screen views, and advertising requests, displays, and rewards. Reports can include level identifiers, board size, difficulty, and app or content version.
- App and device information. Analytics may process an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, language, approximate location derived from network information, and advertising identifiers where available and permitted by the platform and applicable choices. These identifiers can distinguish app installations or devices without requiring a game account.
- Crash and diagnostic information. We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify errors and improve stability. Reports may include crash traces, error messages, diagnostic logs, app and device details, installation or session identifiers, and game context such as the current level and elapsed time.
- Advertising information. Google AdMob provides banner, rewarded, and interstitial ads. Its advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate location, device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure advertising and help prevent fraud. The information processed depends on the platform, service configuration, and available privacy choices.
- Support communications. If you email us, we process your email address and the information you provide to answer your request. Please avoid sending information that is unnecessary for resolving your issue.
- Website usage information. Our website uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure visits to the homepage, Support page, and Privacy Policy page. Analytics automatically collects page addresses and titles, referral information, and browser and device information, and may use cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Collection begins when a page loads in a supported browser.
2. Service Providers and Sharing
Google receives information through Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AdMob for the purposes described above. We can access usage reports and diagnostic information through their service dashboards. Advertising partners involved in serving an ad may also process information under the applicable advertising arrangements and privacy choices.

If you use the game's share button, your device opens its sharing interface. The app or service you choose handles the shared game link under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, or protect users and the security of our services.
3. Collection and Your Privacy Choices
The mobile game initializes analytics and crash reporting at startup. These services can process information before you reach an advertising privacy form or choose to watch an ad. The current version does not provide a separate in-game switch for analytics or crash reporting.
We use Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage applicable advertising privacy choices. Where a privacy form is required, it is presented as part of the advertising setup. Where the advertising service requires a privacy-options entry, you can review your choices through Settings → AD PRIVACY.
On iOS, the game also asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, or if tracking is turned off in your device settings, the game serves only non-personalized advertising. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. Android does not use this prompt; advertising choices there are handled through the privacy form described above and your device's advertising-ID controls.
Advertising choices apply to advertising and do not turn off Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics collection. Choosing to watch a rewarded ad is not, by itself, consent to personalized advertising or cross-app tracking. Device advertising-identifier and tracking controls may provide additional choices, but restricting an advertising identifier does not necessarily stop all usage or diagnostic processing.
You can contact us about privacy questions or rights requests using the address below. Playing without a network connection does not necessarily prevent locally buffered service data from being sent when a connection becomes available.
4. Retention and Deletion
Your local save remains until you clear the app's data or remove the game, subject to your device's storage and backup behavior. Device or cloud backups may keep separate copies, which you can manage through the relevant backup settings.
Usage, diagnostic, and advertising information is retained according to its purpose, applicable service retention settings, and legal requirements. Firebase's published retention information states that Crashlytics generally retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from its live and backup systems. Analytics and advertising retention depend on the relevant service settings and practices described in the links above.
We retain support communications for as long as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Removing the game or clearing its local save does not automatically delete information already sent to service providers. To request deletion of information we handle, contact us. We may need information sufficient to verify and locate the relevant records; because the game has no user account, we may not be able to associate every installation-based record with your email address. We will explain any applicable limitations when responding.
5. Security and International Processing
We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their policies and terms describe their international processing practices and safeguards.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Please contact us for requests concerning information processed for Lazy Bricks. Google and your device platform may also offer controls or request channels for information they process. The available in-game controls and their limits are explained in Section 3.
7. Children and Minors
Lazy Bricks is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without the authorization required in the relevant jurisdiction, we will take steps to delete it.
If you are a minor, please use the game with guidance from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child's personal information has been processed through the game without required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.
8. Updates and Contact
We may update this policy when the game, its services, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
